ISPmanager 6 – available for order

The new version of ISPmanager 6 with a revised interface and new tools has been released. There are four different versions of ISPmanager 6: Lite, Pro, Host and Business.

What will happen to ISPmanager 5 licenses?

ISPmanager 5 Business sales and renewals will end in June 2021, until then you can renew your license until January 1, 2022.
On January 1, 2022, support and updates will end.

  • Customers with monthly and annual licenses ISPmanager 5, who will not migrate to a new version by this date – the ability to work with the panel will stop (sites and databases will still work).
  • Customers with a perpetual license – the panel will work, but updates to it will stop.

How do I upgrade from version 5 to ISPmanager 6?

  • If you have a lifetime license of ISPmanager 4 or 5, you can exchange it for a one-year license of ISPmanager 6 – any version – until August 15. To do this, simply write to our support.
  • If you have a monthly or annual license, which has already expired – you can simply order a new license ISPmanager 6, change the key in the installed panel to the new key and then upgrade.
  • If you have a monthly or annual license, paid until the end of 2021 and you would like to keep the paid period – write to our support, we will help you to change the tariff with the payment of the difference in the cost of the license.

How does the update work?

To upgrade, you must first get a key for ISPmanager 6 – by ordering a new version or by changing your plan through support. After you have specified the current key – update the control panel manually or under Help → About.

If the control panel version is lower than 5.295, you should upgrade twice: first to the latest version of ISPmanager 5, and then to ISPmanager 6.
The migration will happen seamlessly and does not require any action from users.

Seamless migration is available for panels that are installed on Debian 9, Debian 10, Ubuntu 16, Ubuntu 18, Ubuntu 20, CentOS 7, CentOS 8.

What should customers do with outdated operating systems?

Not all customers will be able to migrate seamlessly to ISPmanager 6. If the panel is installed on an unsupported operating system, you must perform a manual migration:
migrate users, domains and databases.
We understand this problem, so we prolonged subscription to ISPmanager 5 for customers with older operating systems. They will be able to use the panel without a time limit.

License policy for users of ISPmanager 5 with older operating systems:

  1. You can renew ISPmanager 5 licenses for an unlimited period of time (please contact support for license renewal requests).
  2. As of June 15 (July 1), 2021 subscription to ISPmanager will cost the same as the subscription to ISPmanager 6.
  3. ISPmanager 5 will run after December 31, 2021.
  4. Support will be provided until December 31, 2021.
  5. All operating systems except Debian 9, Debian 10, Ubuntu 16, Ubuntu 18, Ubuntu 20, CentOS 7, CentOS 8 are considered obsolete.
