If you want to use your database on other servers or connect to the database from your PC, you need to add your IP to the list of allowed.
You can do this in the DirectAdmin Hosting Control Panel, section “MySQL Management”
Next, select the database and clicking on it will take you to the Edit Access Hosts section.
In the “Access Host” field, enter your IP and click “Add New”.
If you use a dynamic IP, you can add access for all IPs by adding the % sign (we do not recommend full access for security reasons). If you want to add for a specific IP range, you can make an entry like this: 192.168.%
Access for SSH
If you want to use ssh access, you need to send to tech. support your IP to be added to the whitelist, then you can use ssh, provided it is available on your tariff plan.
