– sends this data to the script, which then changes all the index files, adding lines to the page code with a link to the virus. And this way you can get infected with a virus when you open the site.

Procedure to get rid of the consequences of the virus:
1) Check all computers that access the ftp site with antivirus
2) Change all ftp passwords
3) Fix index files by removing virus code from them
