Three-year SSL certificates will be discontinued on March 1
In the near future you will no longer be able to order SSL certificates for 3 years. If you plan to order SSL certificate for more than two years, it will be available only until March 1. CA/B Forum decided to increase maximal period of registration of SSL certificates to 2 years.
The three-year certificates of GeoTrust, RapidSSL, Symantec and Thawte will be discontinued as early as February 20, 2018. And on March 1, the opportunity to buy SSL for 3 years from Comodo will also disappear.
