Privacy policy
Please read this document carefully before accepting it!
This Privacy Policy sets out the procedure and features of processing data of users of the TutHost Services (“Users”).
This document (the “Policy”) is an integral part of the TutHost Services Agreement. It is impossible to use the TutHost Services without accepting the terms of this Policy.
TutHost has the right to unilaterally change the terms of this Policy at any time by posting a new version of the amended document on the TutHost Website in the “Documents” section.
The terms and definitions used in this Policy shall have the meaning given to them in the TutHost Services Agreement, unless otherwise expressly provided in this Policy.
1. Purposes of data processing
Cases of providing data by the User are, in particular, registration on the TutHost Website, access to the User’s Personal Account, conclusion of license and other agreements, the possibility of which is expressly provided for by the functionality of the TutHost Services, as well as such cases:
- Participation in advertising and marketing campaigns conducted by TutHost;
- When sending inquiries, letters or making other types of contacts with TutHost;
- When using additional special services, if it is provided by the functionality of the TutHost Services and the interface of the TutHost Website.
The User’s data is processed for the following purposes (including, but not limited to):
- Conclusion and execution of the Agreement for the use of TutHost Services;
- Providing an opportunity to create and further use and manage a Personal Account;
- Interaction between Users to receive comments on the TutHost Services, support of the Software Products; sending notifications regarding the TutHost Services and Software Products;
- Analysis of the effectiveness of TutHost Services and Software Products;
- Acceptance, processing, and verification of payments;
- Providing technical support to Users;
- Informing you about upcoming events related to the TutHost Services and Software Products, their updates and other similar events.
2. User data collected and processed by TutHost
The data collected and processed by TutHost (its affiliates) may include (without limitation):
- Surname, first name and patronymic (if any) of the User (the User’s representative, the User’s employee or other person authorized by the User to perform actual actions with the User’s Personal Account when using the TutHost Services);
- Passport data of the User;
- The address of registration (actual residence) of the User;
- Email address;
- User login;
- The position of the User’s representative, employee of the User or other person authorized by the User to perform actual actions with the User’s Personal Account when using the TutHost Services;
- Contact phone number.
TutHost may also collect User data related to the User’s IP address, statistical information about the actions performed by the User when using the TutHost Services, unique User identifiers automatically generated when using the TutHost Services, billing data about the User’s transactions from which the TutHost Services are accessed, as well as other information about the User.
3. Use of cookies
TutHost uses cookies on the TutHost website.
Cookies are text files, usually small in size, or fragments of information that can be stored in the memory of the User’s computer when he visits the TutHost website.
TutHost uses temporary (session) and persistent cookies on its website. Temporary files are different in that they are deleted after the User closes their web browser, while permanent files remain in the computer’s memory until they are manually deleted or until the storage period expires.
The user can change the settings of his/her web browser so that already stored cookies are deleted and new cookies are not stored (detailed information on this is usually contained in the manual of each specific web browser).
If you delete cookies and/or configure your web browser so that no new cookies are stored, some or all features of the TutHost website and the TutHost Services may not be available.
4. 4. Use, dissemination and transfer of data
TutHost may combine (merge, splice) and use the combined User data with other information to provide, manage and develop the TutHost Services. TutHost has the right to provide User data to its affiliates/partners if it is necessary for the provision of the TutHost Services without requesting the User’s consent to such transfer.
In addition, User data may be provided to third parties in such cases:
- When necessary to comply with the law, for example, to investigate payment fraud and any other illegal activity;
- When there is a reasonable suspicion of a potential or existing violation of the rights of TutHost, its affiliates/partners in order to protect the rights of the injured party;
- In cases of infringement of intellectual property rights.
5. Data storage
The data retention period is the period during which the TutHost Services are provided, unless a different period is provided for by applicable law (for example, for accounting purposes or tax compliance).
6. Other obligations of the parties
The User is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the data provided by them. If there are any inconsistencies and/or incorrectnesses in the data provided by the User, they must be changed, including by contacting TutHost specialists, as indicated in the Contact Information section.
TutHost has the right, when deleting and/or changing the User’s data, to store the data that is necessary for the purposes of compliance with applicable law, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the TutHost Services.
