If you don&#8217;t find the &#8220;Let&#8217;s Encrpyt&#8221; section in the SSL certificates menu, ask your administrator to enable it. You can select a maximum of 20 domains.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Always choose yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com entries.<\/p>\n<p>Click the &#8220;Save&#8221; button. Done.<br \/>\nYou have installed the certificate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Remember to configure private_html as shown <a href=\"#private_html\">here<\/a>. Also, you may need to wait a few minutes for the changes to take effect.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"install\">Installing the purchased certificate<\/h3>\n<p>A purchased certificate is the best way to be safe. Because the certificate is secure and trustworthy, visitors will not get a popup warning about an invalid certificate when viewing a secure page.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1: Generating a CSR request<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Be sure to select the &#8220;Create a certificate request&#8221; option.<a href=\"https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/3-9.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23189 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/3-9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"962\" height=\"833\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/3-9.png 962w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/3-9-150x130.png 150w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/3-9-300x260.png 300w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/3-9-768x665.png 768w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/3-9-125x108.png 125w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/3-9-75x65.png 75w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 962px) 100vw, 962px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then enter your company information.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Common name&#8221; is the address of your site, which will be specified in the SSL certificate.<\/p>\n<p>Your site will only be protected by this address. In the above example https:\/\/example.com\/anything will be protected, https:\/\/www.subdomain.example.com is not.<\/p>\n<p>When you&#8217;re done, click the &#8220;Save&#8221; button at the bottom of the screen. Then you will see a page that looks like this:<\/p>\n<p>Copy this text (including the &#8220;BEGIN\/END CERTIFICATE REQUEST&#8221; sections) into a simple text editor, such as Windows Notepad, and save the file to your hard drive. You will need this CSR request when you buy a certificate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2: Purchase a certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you purchase a certificate, you will be asked to enter information about yourself or your company, your website and:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CSR-request<\/li>\n<li>the software that generated the CSR query<\/li>\n<li>your common name<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CSR-request<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Simply insert the CSR provided to you by the control panel, including the &#8220;BEGIN \/ END CERTIFICATE REQUEST&#8221; sections. The order form will have a text box to insert. Make sure the CSR is saved and pasted as plain text.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The software that generated the CSR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Select Apache-ModSSL (&#8220;OpenSSL&#8221;) or &#8220;Other&#8221; if you do not see Apache-ModSSL listed. Don&#8217;t worry about the error, as this information is only collected for statistics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your common name<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Common name&#8221; refers to the address of your site, which will be listed on the SSL certificate (see Step 1). Enter this address without &#8220;http:\/\/&#8221; unless the seller of the certificate specifies otherwise.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 3: Install the certificate<\/h3>\n<p>Check the box next to &#8220;Insert pre-generated certificate and key&#8221;.<a href=\"https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/4-10.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23190 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/4-10.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"962\" height=\"775\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/4-10.png 962w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/4-10-150x121.png 150w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/4-10-300x242.png 300w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/4-10-768x619.png 768w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/4-10-125x101.png 125w, https:\/\/tuthost.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/4-10-75x60.png 75w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 962px) 100vw, 962px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you can see, for you, the key is already inserted in the text box.<\/p>\n<p>Insert the certificate in the &#8220;Certificate&#8221; field below it and click &#8220;Save&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The domain certificate may be named domain.com.crt<br \/>\npre-generated ssl certificate<\/p>\n<h3>Step 4: Install the root CA certificate<\/h3>\n<p>In the picture above you can see the &#8220;CA Root Certificate&#8221; link. Click the link and paste your root CA certificate into the text box. Alternatively, click the &#8220;Use CA certificate&#8221; button above. Then click the &#8220;Save&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p>Important: Remember to check the &#8220;Use CA certificate&#8221; selection.<\/p>\n<p>Although installing the root CA certificate is not always required, you may find that your SSL certificate will not work properly without this step.<\/p>\n<p>The CA certificate can sometimes be called gd_bundle.crt, ca_bundle.crt, ca_cert, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Note.
